Real Estate Investing 101 - How To Become A Real Estate Investor
Welcome to Real Estate Investing 101 where beginners and pros alike can hang out and latch onto info, news and tips relating to the profession of real estate investing.
If you are considering learning how to become a real estate investor, this is the place to spend some time. My name is Bill Vaughn and I have been investing since 1969. I originated the first "reverse mortgage" in 1985 which was adopted by HUD in 1987. Creator of "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" investor training course in 1989, I have since coached over 18,000 "newbies."
For those of you considering jumping on some "infomercial" real estate guru course, seminar or boot camp, the best advice is simply "DON'T". They will drain your bank account while providing little of value in return. "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" is far different and superior, costs less than $100 complete and even includes free mentoring, so there is no point in spending $1500-$40,000 on some huckster.
Real estate investing may seem intimidating at first, but the reality is that it is rather simple. It is also fun, exciting and challenging. It is a great way to make a living, working for yourself according to your own schedule.
This weblog will de dedicated to furthering real estate investing, and assisting visitors in their quest to make it in this field (which is relatively easy to do). To that end I hope you will leave comments, or email me.
See you at the top!
